@Ashley87: @WJo is our resident full-time remote KDCer.  She's reporting in from Kentucky if I'm not mistaken.

WOW ! I'm impressed at myself (LOL) sure didn't have any knowledge that I was a remote KDcer !Hubby & I lived in Kingwood for a little over 6 years because his job transferred us there. My home always was in Kentucky & still is . I got so homesick for our kids ( 8 of them ) plus 9 grand-kids & 8 great grand kids that I told hubby we had to sell the house we purchased in Kingwood & move back to our old home in Kentucky  , it was waiting for us .We have many friends that still live in Kingwood, Houston & Porter & they are on KDC all the time , so I post because all of you are also my friends & I want you all to know what is going on in my life since we left Texas. Hubby still flies back to Houston once a month but I can't because I have 3 fur babies that depend on me to take care of them when dad is gone. We do have a sitter for our babies but at $100. a day we save her for vacations , not business trips.Hope this answers anyone's questions about who I'm & why I  reply to KDC . Besides I'm old & I enjoy keeping in touch with my friends. 4951

@Wjo, I completely understand.  I'm a Kingwoodie too, having lived there for about 30 years. So even though I've moved to the hill country, part of my roots remain there.  Some things I miss, some I don't, but KDC rocks and I can't stay away.  I mostly lurk these days but still...... 4951
