My 2 year old refuses to wear clothes today! She is the best little Houdini when it comes me trying to tackle her down and dress her. Normally I wouldn't mind but we have a repair guy coming out later and I want her dressed.

Is this a normal two year old thing?

@mommyof5: Mine wore the princess dresses from the trunk out. People stared, but I didn't really care.

Yep. Tay loves no clothes days. But...if someone is coming over she must wear clothes. She doesn't fight me on it though.

I'd let her know that while someone else is in the house, clothes must be worn. Let her choose. Even if it's a princess dress up outfit. As long as she's covered...all is well. If she refuses completely, she has to stay in her bed until the repair man leaves. No negotiations about that. 4951

I finally got her dressed.  She pooped and She wasn't fighting me when I was wiping her butt.  So I dressed her.I offered her to pick her own outfit but she just said "no".  4951

@foxymama:  Perfectly normal.  Some toddlers just want to let their freak flag fly and enjoy life naked. The diaper is the issue, however.  Some were days are just t-shirt and diaper, or just a diaper days, it was less stress on me to pick my battles and let him be comfy.  Now, if we had to leave the house, all bets were off and clothes were a must. 4951

The youngest was a nudist around that age too...And "I do it!" was her favorite phrase. I found this pic from when she was almost 2. It pretty much sums up our daily morning routines back then. Emoticon  4951
