Let's face it. Some women have a pretty face, but aren't in great physical shape. Other women have a great body with a less than ideal face. It's hard to find the whole package. Of course, personality and confidence count for a lot, or at least they should.I'm just curious though, guys, gals... Which do you think is more important? If you had to choose just one, would you prefer a partner with a rockin' body or a pleasant face? 4951

Read an article once on survey done, that for a quickie, or non committed relationship most men said it was all about the body but when it came to long term, facial appearance and personality Is what attracts them the most. 4951

A body, with diet and exercise, can be changed and altered into anything you want it to be.

Face, personality and confidence are the hardest, if not nearly impossible, to change.

What do most people admire and respect the most?
What is the longest lasting?
What is real and what is just skin deep that will eventually droop and sag with age?  4951

@mm4731: Sure.
@Mahm: ask any guy to answer honestly, and that will be their answer

@mm4731: You almost sound serious. Of course, that should be the answer, in a perfect world. But it is often not the true answer.

Wow, that's a difficult question because I'm a selfish, picky bastard and want them both. And I really have no room to talk, I'm not considered anything close to being a hunk. I am, however, in pretty good shape. Like a lot of people, I could stand to lose a few pounds. I've come across a lot of women that are overweight (even obese) but you can tell that they'd be very attractive if they took care of their weight. I'm just being honest here, obesity and/or being fat is just not attractive to me. So, to answer with the two choices you gave me - I'd have to say body. The reason I've come up with this answer is because people can't choose their looks, but they can choose to be in shape and relatively healthy. 4951

@WskyTngoFxtrt: That's fair.So you're going with the "they can't help it" approach. Or the "they would be thin if they worked at it" rationale.I'm the first to admit that I am out of shape. I have been told I have a cute face though. Fortunately, my DH likes a woman with some meat on her bones, so he has what he wants. Except I am a little crazy sometimes. He learns to live with it though. I agree there are women who would be more attractive (by society's definition) if they made some effort to take care of their bodies.Thanks for your honesty!

@Mahm: I call BS.  You are beautiful!  Hubs has what he wants and is happy because you are a catch, my friend. You are no crazier than anyone else here.  We all have times when we are down a bit and other times when we are on top of the world.  You are completely normal and completely gorgeous!  4951
