Based on life in Kingwood, it appears to be the one that moves first. 4951

I was taught that the person that arrived at the intersection first has the right of way.  If both arrive at the same time perpendicular to each other, the person on the right has the right of way.  If both arrive at the same time parallel (as in the pic above), the person going straight has the right of way. 4951

I always thought it was B. Most of the time though, I just let the other person go(A..B..C..or any other car) if they were there first.   4951

Oh...that's assuming that vehicle B is already traveling on a public street.  If they are pulling out of a private residence, to include a shopping center, restaurant, etc, then the vehicle that has already established itself on the street has the right of way. 4951

A - the person on the main road in the median has right of way over someone on a cross street trying to enter the main road. 4951

@donnatella: Hmmmm....I've never heard of a distinction between main vs cross street.  Only public vs private.  To be fair, I was a sheriff's deputy many moons ago and we weren't really traffic cops.

@ET: Or there's always the size of the vehicle. If I can run over the other vehicle, I'm going first. Emoticon

@BBQguy: That is a qualifier, along with who cares least about their car.

@ET: Also: If I can't see the other driver, THEY go first. This scene looks eerily similar to the Walgreens exit on KW Dr. A lot of sedans come out of there, and all I see is knuckles and white hair. Emoticon
