My 2 year old has been on a crazy schedule since the time change. Going to bed at midnight! Waking at 6 am then taking a morning nap at 9 and a late afternoon nap at 4.
It's a cycle I can't seem to break her from.

Before she would go to bed by 10pm wake at 8am and nap at 1:30. It was still a late bedtime but better than midnight!

With this rain it's been hard to tire her out enough to get her to bed sooner. Also, I haven't been able to stop the late nap. Maybe today I will just shorten the afternoon nap to just 30 minutes. She will be a cranky toddler all evening but hopefully we can get to bed at 10 pm again.

Any advice is appreciated. 4951

Remember, 1 hour real time is like either 2 seconds or 3 days to a toddler

Another perfect example of why it should go away!  If the bill passes and Texas takes the lead, perhaps other states will follow.  4951

I want only DST, get rid of the other one, and then everyone can can complain about how TX is on a different timezone, etc.During the winter I could watch the tonight show, it would come on at 9;30 4951

Wow those are crazy hours. No wonder she is giving you a hard time. My kiddos at that age slept from 7-7 with an afternoon nap, well not my middle kid he hardly slept. What is your evening routine like? Sounds like she may be over stimulated. I would try no electronics and that includes tv, after dinner. Create a relaxing routine. Warm bath, followed by snuggling and book reading. It will take some time but be consistent. 4951
