To Use to as a preposition before a noun or as an infinitive before a verb. To and Too can be tricky!Examples:"Please take me to the dance""We don't need to buy that right now."Too Use too as a synonym for also or to indicate excessiveness before a verb. Usually, if you can replace too with also in the same sentence, and it still makes sense, then you are using it correctly. Examples:"I am going to the mall, too.""I had too many tacos for lunch." Two Use two to spell out the number 2. If you can replace two with 2 in the same sentence, and it still makes sense, then you are using it correctly. This should be the easiest one! Examples:"I have two hands and two feet.""Can you give me two dollars?" The to, too, two worksheet is for people that need practice:  www.totootwo.com/to- too-two-worksheet.pd f  4951

Had to laugh.
I read a link to a news report yesterday.
It took three scrolls up on my phone and contained not the first punctuation mark.
8-)
Where is English grammer taught these days? Obviously, not in our schools.

If it were people using a second language like English Verdi Spanish, I could understand. It's not the case though, it's native born college graduates that I am talking about. 4951

I asked my great grand daughter if she knew what an "oxy moron" was ...she said ,"yes a dumb person".  Guess they are no longer teaching anything worth knowing in our schools. 4951

You're never too old to learn something, especially since it didn't take the first time around.

@jax: True and if someone post a resume or a court document or something and asked our opinion then give it. But at least once a week this forum has a grammar police post.....lol Its a forum, Facebook, general text, or email to a friend, or chat, we are busy, sometimes on a small phone keyboard or have a dog in one arm and a baby in another all the while auto correct is playing with your mind. I just don't see an issue or reason to correct or assume someone is under educated in these situations.

Excuses are like ******s. Everyone has one and they all stink.

There's an excuse for everything. Some people just don't want to be corrected. I get that. It sucks. I hated it when I was in school after staying up for nights finishing my college papers. Instead of making excuses, I decided trying to eliminate my errors...as much as I could anyway.

Someone once told me: "You don't have to be intelligent, but you sure can appear to be."

There's a difference between making honest errors and being D-U-M, dumb. You know that.

@jax: My son teaches English at a high school.  By the time the students reach him, they have too many spelling and grammar bad habits.  He does what he can, but most of those habits are too ingrained.
