Siggy has applied for several jobs to work at Insperity. She has years of experience in HR and admin, and management. Can anyone help, to get her name in the loop. She has tried for years, but they never seem to call for anything.Need some advice quick... 4951

Has she updated her resume to include todays hottest buzzwords? As silly as it sounds that is important as is having multiple resumes that stress different skills.
 
@Stealth83: Yeah being an HR company I am sure they are doing machine screening.  Best thing possible is to have somebody on the inside hand carry the resume for submittal.  There is a natural bias to somebody "they know".

@KTownTexican: That's so weird. I don't work there, but I know DOZENS of people who do. She should find out who the head of the department is and try to call them directly. Also, is she applying directly through THEIR website or a secondary job site?

I know quite a few people that have cracked the HR nut through LinkedIn.  Connecting with someone within the organization through a known contact and letting them know how they could add value to their organization/department, simply asking them to chat over coffee, etc.  It's a powerful tool. 4951

I currently work for Insperity, it really is all about who you know. Plus I know we do credit checks as well too so if he/she has bad credit that could be a factor as well. 4951

I only know two people that have gotten jobs at Insperity and they both knew someone. It's a hard company to get into unless you have an inside tract. I'd be curious as to what their starts are on hiring people that come to them from an 'arms length' source. 4951

After several attempts at applications without success, it might be time to just cut your losses and move on to other opportunities.  Insperity is not the only HR company in business.  If nothing is coming up in HR, then it might also be time to re-evaluate, with either training or a career change. It's better to switch gears and look in a similar field than try to wait it out without a job.  4951

Does he maintain an open door policy?One day the CEO of my company told us he had an open door policy.  He said "come by whenever you want to talk."The next day I visited his office to find some construction workers replacing his doorway into the hall with a wall. 4951

She has tried all that,, and we have come to learn... Its who you know. Yes,, she has bad credit in the past,, but if they would interview and ask her why,, she could explain her situation.We don't know many people who work for Insperity,, because most are social media names like here on KDC. Im just trying to reach out to see if anybody is looking for help.She wants to stay in Kingwood because her kids go to school here, and its close to home for her. 4951
