My latest stray cat rescue seems to need his teeth cleaned.  I'm in need of low cost vet recommendations. What price do you think I'm looking at for cleaning and possibly extraction? After researching, I see prices ranging from $150 to $600 (All from out of state). This year has not been budget friendly, so I need to keep the cost as reasonable as possible. 4951

Ween needs a dental soooo bad but I just don't have the funds atm.  When we brush his teeth everyday, the plaque gradually flakes off. I use Nylabone oral products. They sell them at Petsmart.  He loves his teeh brushed! I havent done it in a couple of weeks, and whoooooeeeee! Stink breath!!! 4951

I have the pet insurance thru Lonestar Vet on Atascocita road. Dr. Bryant is awesome & the monthly plan covers a certain dollar amount towards a procedure each year. My little dog just has a mast removal & dental cleaning & my cost was around $50. 4951

Also, if you can, keep them on a dry food diet. Canned food creates tartar. I'm experimenting with a gel product and a spray on product. Will let ya'll know which works best. 4951

I'm going to try the teeth gel @Fallon recommended. If there is no improvement, I'll follow up with a vet appointment. Thanks everyone for your input! 4951
