Anybody buy one for their toddler/kid? Are they worth the price?

No and no.  At a minimum buy something that the kid has to peddle to make move.  At least they get some exercise. 4951

When I was a kid I had an electric car.  The battery didn't last long.  After one summer, it no longer held a charge.  We had more fun with one pushing and one riding than we ever had when it worked on the electrics. 4951

Years ago, I bought one for my son.  Battery lasted a few months, it collected dust for a few months, then it went into the trash.  Definitely NOT worth it. 4951

I bought one for my daughter back in the 90's. It came with a charger that helped the battery last until the novelty of the car wore off. 4951

Our neighbors gave us one when my kids were little because their kids never played with it/out grew it.  It was not long at all before it was collecting dust.  The kids got bored of it very quickly, like within days quickly. 4951

I remember the old back and forth peddles, took some work to get those thing going. And if your feet slipped off they beat on your shins. 4951

2 kids =5 power wheels

They absolutely loved them! I sold them thinking they were too big for them only to be met with about 2 years of guilt trips. 4951
