Anyone add greens to their smoothies?
Does it require an expensive blender to chop the greens enough? 4951

I have a pretty plain blender- it does have a food chop- but a low pulse would do the job.
I put Central markets's Super green trio- about 2 cups-( a huge handful)
1/2 cup of Acai juice ( can't remember the brand but get it at HEB in the juice aisle
1/2 cup of blueberries ( or 1/4 c of blueberries and 1/4 c of strawberries when they're in season
1 scoop of whey protein.
Put It on food chop and then mix on high and that's breakfast for me 4951

I used one of those Magic Bullet blenders for quite a while until I graduated to a Ninja blender. In hindsight, I think I actually prefer the magic bullet because it did individual servings. 4951

I added some kale to my strawberry, blueberry, Greek yogurt smoothie. I puréed the fruit first then added kale. I chopped the kale first before adding too.
It good I couldn't tell it was in there.
