I get up to make a quick bathroom run, planning to go right back to bed and to sleep. Guess again!!! (insert sarcastic tone and eye roll here). Next time I might just try to turn over and sleep through my need for a late night tinkle break. Looks like I'm up for a while. Might as well make some coffee.

THIS DOTH SUCKETH!!! =( 4951

What a horrible night sleep! I got out of bed at 2 and came out to the recliner, kinda slept -- vivid dreams that kept waking me up & now I'm up. I have to go back for a few more hours. 4951

Sounds like my every night. Sleep a little, get up to pee, lay back down wide awake, pick up Kindle and play a game or surf the internet to get sleepy again, lay Kindle down, nestle into my pillow and fall asleep...repeat every 1-2 hours.

In the daytime I don't have near that many bathroom trips. 4951

@donnatella: yes it does. I remember when my parents would get up and go to bathroom snd stay up. I would think what's up with that NOW I'm there....lol

I hate waking up in middle of night. Then if I get up to go to bathroom hello I'm awake. Don't tell anyone but think it has something to do with age. Wow I could sleep through the night and get up at ten or eleven on Saturdays back in the days. 4951

I'm up and down about every 90 minutes at night. I decided today will be a great spring cleaning day so the wundows are already opened, the fans cleaned, ceilings and walls wiped down, dusting completed and I have a good start on my cleaning blitz today. Now time for some eggs and coffee and preparing for round 2.

Enjoy your Saturday

@Stealth83:

OMG...that would be so nice!

This pregnancy has wiped me out so much more than my previous. My mom was in town helping me out for a few days. She got me all caught up on laundry and starting to prepare for this new baby, even though he'll be here by April 22, haha! My poor DH is lucky to have clean clothes for work at this point. I wish I had the energy level to do a deep clean. I may or may not clean up my daughter's Lego mess today though. 4951

I'm just not going to brag how I slept until 9:30 and had to force myself to get up. ;-)

In all seriousness, last summer i was having sleep issues. I did some research on a few things. I would wake up every night around the same time 3:13 really! Give or take a few minutes. (Let me add here that i have no idea how true the following is) I found something about your body revitalizing certain things in cycles as you sleep. In that time frame your body is working on things like your liver and other larger organs. Pair that with the perimenopause I'm going through, and I would wake up in a sweat and sometimes with vivid crazy dreams. The recommendation was to drink a glass of water before bed. I have been doing that. It seems to have helped and I don't have to get up to pee either which was a concern for me. Every once in a while I can't sleep through the night but it's 2-3 times a month not every night like it was. 4951

@Francita: If I drank a glass of water before bed I would be up all night to tinkle. 4951

I was watching Vikings and the slap on demand all night as I had to watch my two year old as he would not sleep. He finally went to sleep at 300 am 4951

I've started sleeping with ear plugs in to drown out the overwhelming white noise in the bedroom. A single fan is ok but we have 2 fans and an ac going. It's too much and I was waking up several times a night. 4951

@CBP210:

Is The Slap any good? The early trailers made it looks like a two or three episode show...then what would they do? 4951

I've been having insomnia over the past week.  I was probably just getting to sleep when @donnatella was waking up.  I used to have insomnia real bad, but now it only hits periodically.  I slept in until 9:30am but that was about 6 hrs of sleep.I drink water all day but try to cut back in the evening.  It's rare when I have to get up during the night to pee.  However, when I wake up, the toilet is my priority! 4951
