A couple weeks ago I was walking to the office and noticed a cpl lady's from the office around a Cad Escalade in the parking garage, they were trying to get a kitty out that was stuck underneath, they couldn't see him but kept hearing the meows. The Esc owner was there and was a butthole (hey, I'm not a cat person, but come on, have a heart). Wouldn't (said he didn't know how) get his jack out and jack up the truck. I did, but still couldn't get the little sucker, apparently, he was in there since the day before and took a ride home and back (i.e. his time was running out). I could get under the truck, and finally saw he was stuck between the truck body and tranny, but couldn't get him, tried for an hour or so.As I got upstairs, and into my office, it was bugging me, as well as the girls in the office, I went back out and tried, but no luck, the meowing was getting more desparate. Out my office window I noticed a auto repair shop across the street with a lift, exactly what we needed, called them to ask them if I got the Esc. owner to bring his car over if he would allow me to put it on the lift and get a kitty out, here's his response "we work on cars, not getting cats out, ect', no chit, you don't make a living rescuing animals from underneath vehicles to pay your high rent, but I finally got him to allow it, as long as I did the cat snagging. But get this, we found the Esc. owner, he worked for our
roperty mgr, had one of the girls call him and he said he didn't have time, was about to go on a early lunch appt and couldn't. Make a long story less long, another one of our office staff called his boss, and after explaining the situation, the butthole met us across the street and we (actually the auto shop mgr got him out) got him. The girl from the office took him home and he's making her a good house cat.She named him "lucky", but my suggestion was "Cadillac", lol. 4951
