I dont know who is responsible for the tree cutting but all the trees on the north and south bank of the rivergrove park creek have been marked for removal.  Looks like about a 10 foot back from the bank clearing is about to take place.  We fish this creek quite often either walking the trail or by kayak and am a bit disappointed by this action.  I understand some flood control cutting is basic maintenance but this is basically everything.  It is going to end up looking like every other flood control ditch in Houston. 4951

I would think keeping the trees would help prevent erosion, but I haven't been back there in a while. I hate to see trees cut down. 4951

Person not living in Kingwood:  "I want to move to the liveable forest because of the trees."Same person now living in Kingwood.  "Someone cut down these #@%#$$ trees".The liveable forest is now the concrete jungle. 4951

I used to remember Atascocita was a small community with lots of trees but since all these transplants came more trees were cut down and now has become a concrete city. 4951
