@Cynthia#1: I read all the books in a weekend-I wasn't overly impressed.  I am not liking the previews that much either.  DH and I will probably end up renting it on Redbox.  you?

No way- I made myself get through the first 2- I have read much better bodice busters. And I agree with Fallon- the woman was about as intelligent as a bag of rocks. I just couldn't get into the lack of intelligence, nor could I GEt past the horrible writing.
But to each their own- I'm in a minority - most everyone I know loved the books 4951

Maybe it is just me, but I like a man that is strong. And he has to be strong to deal with me

@Fallon: That was the thing that most attracted me to my DH- He didn't put up with my crap.

The gal in those books needed to just smacked.  Is there a female that lame living?  Just like Bella in Twilight.  She was awful in the books.  And the actress that played her sucked as bad as she didEmoticonWill not see the movies.  Could barely read the books.

@Fallon:

Fifty Shades started as fan fiction of Twilight. That's probably why the female leads are similar. 4951

@Okiedokie: My hubby too!!! I think he must be a saint! Lol my poor son in law- my dd seemed to have inherited that Irish spirit. Of course neither one of us are game players- we tell it like we see it- maybe too honest in a heated moment. We also put up with our husbands BS too!

I'll wait a few weeks and see what public opinion is on it. I haven't read the books either. I have seen x- rated version though! Lol.

Seriously?  Of course I'm going to see it.  Likely within a day or two of the release.

I devoured the books and have been anxiously awaiting the movie.  I'm so excited I just can't stand it.  It is going to be fabulous!!!  CAN-NOT-WAIT!!!!

From what I read, FIFTY SHADES DARKER is now in early production.  I knew they could not fit story from all three books into one movie.    4951

@GoldenGirl:  That is another great series.  Isn't he fabulous!!!  I picture David Gandy as Simon.

I'm currently reading the ONE NIGHT series by Jodi Ellen Maplas. Not sure anything can top her THIS MAN series, but ONE NIGHT is another yummy great read.  The third book is due out on Feb. 10, so I'm savoring the last bit of the book to have a flawless transition.
