I started counting calories and it's amazing how quickly it can all add up. Walnuts are relatively high in calories but very good for you because of the Omega 3. Dairy is high in calories as well. Just 1 ounce of cheddar cheese contains 114 calories. A boiled egg, however, is only 78 calories. I'm trying to lose at least 3 pounds a week and it's not easy. Goal is to lose 35 pounds in 12 weeks. I'm down roughly 7 or 8 pounds since Jan 5th.
@WskyTngoFxtrt: Have you looked into the BMR calculator thing that shows how many calories you need to maintain/lose weight? 7-8lbs is great! I, personally, think losing gradually is the better way to go.Â
