How's the job search going? Have you found one yet or any good prospects? Have you tried Pro Staff? I've heard they are good. My wife said Kingwood Personnel was terrible and no help at all.www.prostaff.com 4951

@BlissfullyRetired: Your wife is right about Kingwood Personnel! I registered with them & 4 months later they called about a temp job in the Woodlands  and wanted me to be there in an hour. That couldn't happen and they acted all ****ty about it. That's where we parted ways.

They must not have much business. If you signed up for temp work and they were a decent company with enough clients, you should have been called immediately...within a day or two.

Yes, sometimes there is short notice, but they are assuming you are getting up and getting ready to walk out the door when they call. That's fine if they are going to call you daily or several times a week, but NOT once in 4 months. 4951

After 4 months of not hearing from them, they weren't even on my radar anymore.  Clayton Personnel on Beltway 8 in the greenspoint area are much better and more professional and have good clients in that area and downtown. 4951

They likely got **** about it because they committed to the job and they had treated other temps that way and couldn't fill the commitment.

If they can't fill the job they committed to, either someone in the office has to fill it or, they risk losing the client. Apparently, with little business, they need to step up the marketing and go make in-person visits. 4951
