I am genuinely happy for him. He is a good guy. For some reason he got into a rut that he could not get out of while he was here. The lack of a good QB didn't help but he did play a part in the decision of not looking beyond Matt. Good luck to him and I hope the pressure of the job doesn't affect his health. He had a mini-stroke whwn he was here. 4951
It made sense...John Elway is the president of operations, and kubiak used to be his backup. Kubiak's son works for the Broncos as well.  I wish him luck, but if Peyton does not come back, this time next year we will be hearing about who his replacement is. 4951
It will be surprising if Peyton wants to play for Kubiak... After all, it was Kubiak that passed on Peyton to get his "beloved" Matt Schaub... and we all know what a great decision that was!!! 4951
He already had Schauby who was coming off a good year - he was taking us to the Super Bowl according to the hype. Manning was damaged goods at the time. I can understand that decision. 4951
