I am taking my 2 year old daughter to Disney world this Spring. I have never been to either Disney theme park.
What should I expect, any tips?
We already have a place to stay with Family in Tampa.
Can I expect to see what my 2 year old will enjoy in 1 day or should I plan to go for more days?

I think you can rent one at the park for $5-10.  It is a lot easier, but you can't take it out of the park and sometimes, especially when you are going home, the kiddos are super tired.  Look into the Disney park app for your smart phone to keep up with the wait times for the rides.  Also, look up the website www.wdwinfo.com/ and other Disney plan guides.  They will give you a lot of tips to see all the rides in one day.  I think there are other plans for multiple days as well.  Each park is pretty well one day each.  We used to do the Animal Kingdom in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon, but they have added a lot of stuff to the Animal Kingdom, so it may be a full day now.  Epcot is more for older kids, so a really young one probably wouldn't be that interested.  If you can only go to one park, definitely go to the Magic Kingdom.  I loved going there!  Bring lots of quick snacks and sunscreen.  A hat for her is a must! 4951

@Nurse3: I was thinking a guide on how to deal with dumb people as people act stupid and lose common sense in the park.

We already have a place to stay with Family in Tampa.  Lucky you, if you are in Tampa, take her to the beach. Personally, I would wait on Disney until she was at least two years older.  It is a grind, and in the spring it is mobbed with spring breakers.  4951

I took the family in August and we were there 4 days. We didnt get to everypark but I would have to say that Magic Kingdom is the best. It's just like Disneyland in California. It has all of the smaller rides for kids like Peter Pan, Toy Story and Small World. If she's into Frozen (who's not) then Hollywood has a welcome parade with the Frozen characters in the morning with snow (bubbles) flurries. They also have a story/sing along  to Frozen and Fireworks at night. Stroller rental is $15 a day but save your receipt cause if you go into another park all you do is show the receipt and you can get another one at no charge. My youngest daughter was 3.5 when we went and reminds me of the Frozen sing a long almost everyday! P.S. Dont go to Lego Land!!!  It was a complete waste of money and not even that fun. We went for my 9 year old and she only enjoyed a few things.. it was not very Lego looking at all! 4951

For a 2 year old, I would focus on the Magic Kingdom.  Epcot and the other attractions are directed to older kids and adults.  Try to avoid spring break.  Definitely bring/rent a stroller!  Disney does maintence on some of the rides during the off-season, but they rotate them so several aren't down at the same time.  It's not a problem unless you have your heart set on a specific ride and it's down. Bring easy to carry/pack ponchos because it often rains in the spring there.  They sell them at Disney for a ridiculous price when you can buy them for about $1 ea and bring them.Have fun! 4951

It will be hard for one full day at the them park. They can't do a lot of thing due to their size. They will enjoy seeing all the beautiful things. 4951
