The HOA fees in Kings Mill are getting out of hand. It goes up every year. I bought my house 2 years ago and was told the HOA fees were $450 a year. It has gone up twice, in 2 years, and now it is $580. The letter they send out each year to say "stick em up" gives me the impression that they find it necessary to raise our costs due to more homes being built or more residents, or some such, but every new home gets held up for a big fat fee so that excuse doesn't wash. They'd have less money coming in if there were fewer people to gouge.
It is expensive to live in Kingwood with these property taxes and HOA fees. There's no recourse, right? If anyone knows any cool tricks for conscientiously objecting or starting a rally against highway robbery, let's hear it. haha
I'm sure other neighborhoods have it worse. 4951
