Of he doesn't want you to say anything I would try hard not to. 12 is a hard age and they have to learn how to handle this stuff. He is going to be a man, not always a boy that will have his mom a to take away all the evils if the world. If the coach is physically hurting him , then all bets are off.

I would stay out of it. 4951

How is he being bullied? Is it physical or verbal? Or is the coach just giving them a hard time and trying to toughen them up? 4951

>> talk to the coach

@mm4731:

I thought about that but son says no... My son is no wimp I am just getting real upset and tired of it

@silly123:

This isn't about whether or not your son is a wimp. It's about him being afraid it will only get worse. Give your son a tape recorder strapped to his leg (or a phone) and record that ish. 12 is a scary age for boys and girls, and as mature as he may be, he may be trapped by fear and can't see that this terrible situation can be stopped. Those words will haunt him for life, and the longer this continues, the worse it will affect him. Do something NOW. I was bullied, I know. 4951

@lilmama09:

No the coach is not trying to toughen him up... He only does it to my son

@silly123: That is a difficult situation, but if your son doesn't want you to say anything, imo I'd stay out of it for now unless it gets worse.

@BooBear:

A LOT of name calling
Aloe of teasing
Telling him he won't ever play basketball
Telling him he will not amount to anything

@silly123:
is he singlng your son out? how is your son reacting to it?

Sometimes it's harder for mom to let our kids grow up. Than it is for the kids.

Now that my son is older, when he tries to tell me something, I just tell him that it's his problem and he needs to deal with it.
