Personally I love learning ways to recycle and use things. Heck how many times here do we share money saving tips? Trying to make what one person does as cheap while what you do as frugal is simply funny. It's the same. No better or worse.
@Stealth83: Being frugal and not wasting is completely different than being cheap. Everyone likes getting a good deal and getting the most for their money. Buying in bulk at a great price or couponing is frugal. Re-purposing items instead of tossing them, is frugally not wasting.
The way I define cheap is something like going out to dinner and bringing your own food or beverage so you don't have to pay for it, or worse, stealing condifments for your own supply at home. Maybe only ordering hot water and bringing your own tea. Or like the example
@Mahm gave of the guy at McDonalds.
If someone is cheap and enjoys it then that's their personal business. Most people don't enjoy cheap, but don't mind frugal at all. It's a fine line, but it makes a big different and an even bigger impact on relationships. 4951
