The weekend is over and I ate good apart from the breakfast I had on Saturday, I ate on that all day. Also, I had wine on Friday and I had a few glasses last eve...........so now, back on the program.My goal this week is to lose 2 lbs. I am quite certain that I gained some back from the wine. It's okay though....back on track again for the week.So my main goal is to get to the gym. Hope everybody has a good week. Keep up the hard work and keep moving. Weigh in on Friday Emoticon 4951

Weighed-in this morning and after week one, I was down four pounds.....much better than I expected. All we've done so far is make minor adjustments to what we eat, better control of portions, and I started playing racquetball at lunch two days a week; nothing too radical. Small lifestyle changes, little by little. 4951

Walked for 40 minutes again this morning. Bought lots of fruit & veggies yesterday at the grocery store.
 
My boss recommended that I watch a documentary called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". A very motivating documentary even if you don't plan on following the methods that Joe Cross demonstrates. 4951

My goal is to go to bed and hide until the sun comes back. This crappy weather has me in a foul mood. So glad we aren't in Ohio anymore- I had to deal with the weather and my mood fro Dec to end of Mar. 4951

I am trying to find a way to walk more throughout the day - I need to get some movement in my life.
 
@Stealth83: I put a pedometer app on my phone and I try to keep an eye on it throughout the day. Having that number there in front of me is just enough motivation to get me moving, even if it's just periodically walking up and down the hall at my office, if I don't see it climbing. 4951

Weigh in after 7 days - lost 1.5 lbs, no change to eating habits but no booze and exercising 6 days at 30 mins a session. Slow but steady! 4951

Not having a good Monday....feeling nauseated and my guts are queasy. Add to that my hubby just got home and has been up for 24 hours. He is now cutting major zzzzz and does not want me to leave his side. Pure love! 4951

I lost 1.2 last week but I'm on weight watchers so it's been a change of lifestyle since July. Down 35 lbs. 4951

Gym: 30 minutes cardioAbs, Leg ext and curls., ShouldersFood: Can of wolf Chili 10a.mSpinach salad with chicken and Mushys, Lite Ceasar dressing.Full and content and glad my man is home. He went with me after he woke up EmoticonGood Monday. 4951

I missed updates for day 6 & 7 so I'll just post it here along with day 8.
 
6 - no excercise. Emoticon I ate a fried egg, wheat toast, a chocolate candy, muffin and a slice of cheese pizza.
 
7 - no excercise. Emoticon I ate a banana and salad.
 
8 - Walked a mile and ran 2 miles Emoticon Joined the gym! Ate oatmeal, ham sandwich and chicken taco.
 
Soon I hope to participate in some of the classes at the gym.
 
The pounds are coming off slowly. When is weigh - in? 4951

I just miss my gym.
It's great that people are motivated with a "New Year, new me" attitude, but I can't wait until February when 75% of the newbies have fizzled out & stop going to the gym. It was so frustrating tonight when allll of the machines I wanted were taken- weight benches/ machines as well as all but 4 treadmills, all of the bikes, & both stair machines. All of the weights I use were in use, free weights & cable weights, & the worst part is the number of people just SITTING on equipment LOOKING AT THEIR PHONES!! Do that crap at home. That 90% gym capacity BS is for the birds. I miss pre January gym, lol. 4951
