Do any of y'all use them, and if so, which one do you recommend? I've been wanting to get one for awhile now, but I don't want to spend a lot of money for something that doesn't work very well, or go cheap and end up paying more in the long run replacing it so often. 4951

We have one of the basic types that fits on the bottle and diffuses as it pours. It works well but the issue is forgetting to dig it out and attach it before pouring. Haven't used it in a bit because it's easy to just open the bottle and pour.

If I ever replace it, I will likely get a decanter/diffuser combination.

Either way, I would got for the middle, not the cheapest but not the priciest. Checkout Wine.com, Wine Enthusiast and Amazon.com, and look at ratings and reviews. You could also go to Spec's and ask for a recommendation.

@KellyG: me too....LOL....I sell oils but IMO the company I sell for charges a ridiculous amount for diffusers. I order Greenair ones on Amazon, how much are the ones at HEB and where are they located in case I need one in a hurry.....LOL

@bp2018: this is the one I use and suggest to my customers. I have bought and gifted several. They are nice, have changing lights, they also auto turn off when empty, last about 3 hours, so no worries during sleep. I diffuse about 10_ 12 hours a day and have had no issues. I clean them about once a week. www.amazon.com/Green air-Advanced-Wellnes s-Instant-Healthful/ dp/B004GJRG3K 4951

Can you PM me too! I usually order mine through Mountain Rose Herbs, but if I can support someone local, I'd rather do that.

Can you use the citrus oils in your diffuser? I've heard that they can cause some of the plastic ones to erode. 4951

I'm looking for a good one to use with essential oils. After doing some research, I've decided that it would be very beneficial for my house. I'm even thinking of getting a smaller one for my car. 4951

@bp2018: they will only erode humidifiers..not oil diffusers....info on the way. But careful using citrus around cats, think diffusing is ok but don't apply it to cats.  4951

JUST a FYI and a quick oil lessonwhen you buy from healthfood stores or online health sites and get a 5 mil bottle of lets say Lavender for 10 bucks and its 100% pure and certified you need to understand that essential oils are NOT certifiable...LOL They certify their own. There is not a company or government organization that certifies or regulates essential oils. FDA will give very few companies a GRAS label which is Generally referred to as safe. That's it....LOLSo now one will always ask why these THREE big distributers charge 20 or so a 5 ml bottle of lavender while the other places charge 5 or 10 and they are pure right too?Yup they put about 15-20 drops of the requested pure oil(lavender, peppermint, oregeno...etc)in the bottle, the rest is PURE CARRIER OIL....coconut, olive, vegetable...etc. They didn't lie...Emoticon Its pure alright! The other distributer companies I wont list since I work for one do NOT dilute...in a 5 ml bottle you are getting about 100 drops of nothing but the real ingredient..no carrier oils added. even cheaper yet is when you buy 15ML bottles and get 300  drops. so do the math 15 drops for 10 bucks of the cheaper diluted oils or 300 drops for 30 bucks of pure plant oil. You can do amazing things with these oils but they are very powerful so you need to use very little 1-3 drops tops dang it, I cant emphasize that enough. But just wanted a FYI on the difference since many people think they are getting certified pure when they buy health food stores. well go to walmart and you can get a gallon of certified pure coconut oil for a few bucks...lol I buy it to dilute my own oils the way I want...:-)your oil lesson for the day...Emoticon 4951
