Sounds vile. If you could cook, you wouldn't need a crockpot to create moist cooked meat.

Um, it's not about "if you can cook".... It's ideal for dual-income families, to come home to an already cooked, hot meal. I'm lucky I can work from home, but I still use mine bc I prep either on my lunch break or while on conference calls and it frees up my evening to help get homework done, get the kids bathed and have time with them.
