I think my favorite is turkey just because the leftovers are so versatile. Turkey & eggs, turkey salad, turkey noodle soup, turkey stir fry, turkey sandwiches, wraps, etc. have a ton left over. My mom made a huge bird & sent us home with a huge freezer bag full. 4951

I would have to say dessert... But more realistically, turkey for the same reasons you said. It's just so versatile. We still have fudge, pumpkin pie & cookies left over though... Its so easy to just grab the bad-for-you (but so yummy) stuff when it's right there. 4951

I am just glad I was able to save two turkey tails and some ham to bring home while my family is still in San Antonio. 4951

We have turkey for Thanksgiving and ham for Christmas.  Both can be great leftovers!  We'll have cabbage and blackeyed peas on New Years Day. 4951
