For me, it was playing a game at my parents' house.  My DH and and mom don't really get along.  They always try to put aside their differences, but there is still tension.We played a game my dd got after dinner and genuinely had a great time. We were all laughing and joking.  My dd didn't even care if she won or lost Emoticon 4951

Yep, I felt rushed all season too & try as I might... had a hard time getting into the spirit. Best Christmas moment was probably watching our 4 yr old open her gifts & get her dollhouse. It's exciting to see the little faces light up Emoticon 4951

My favorite moment was DEFINITELY the look on DD's face when she went outside & saw her trampoline. Second favorite moment was the look on DH's face when he was surprised with the deluxe edition bounty hunters code (Star Wars thing.) All in all, it was a really great Christmas. 4951

@Heathur: I can imagine her look just like my dd when she saw her new speakers sound system for her piano and the Bear Archery bow. I cannot wait till she comes back to Atascocita when she sees her new electric scooter and skateboard and my son sees his new train set. The moment is priceless but it does hurt the wallet.

@CBP210:
I put in sooo much overtime November- December, it's not even funny. I always put in OT, but I went above & beyond to make avoid making sure Christmas wasn't a financial burden, lol. You're right though, December ain't a cheap month! Ha. Emoticon 4951

@Heathur:  Well it pays to work thirteen to fourteen hours a day at my job but then again I consider Christmas season to be priciest times although November used to be during the Hunting seasons.

That is a favorite gift for me to give. I have gotten many hooked on that game. Both kid and adult versions are fun. 4951

I was at Randall's on Christmas Eve with my babies who were in an excessively chatty mood. I was rushing through the aisles trying to remember the few things I needed that I did not write down. They were busy talking and singing and I was stressed out unable to remember the last *crucial* thing I needed. They were being sweet, just distracting me. I was expecting our entire family over and had sooooo much baking to do, and was going on too little sleep. Finally, we got to self-checkout, which was a mistake for my frazzled brain because I was so unfocused and couldn't even tune out the singing littles to scan some bananas, lol. The woman behind us chose not to get irritated by me, but instead was the angel who chatted with my babies so they focused on her and I could finish scanning and bagging. Then I thanked her profusely and asked her if she wants to shop with me from now on. 4951
