@Heatt
You're so like me...I'm way more excited about giving them their stuff than they probably are! I probably won't even sleep tonight and they'll be all, "Zzzzzzzzzzzz."
Also can't wait for my dh to open his gifts tomorrow. He probably thinks the big one is a new bbq pit (huge...beast to wrap), but it's not. I'll think of you after midnight while we're both going, "C'mon!!" and everyone else is sound asleep. lol
Merry Christmas to you! I'm guessing your wee one still believes...this is my first year of no believers, but it's still just as great.
@brightlights:
Oh my gosh, yesss! We do sound so much alike! I never sleep Christmas night! I'll toss & turn, wake up every hour until it's time to open presents! The look on DD's face when she sees the tree Christmas morning is something I look forward to every year. I can't get enough of it!! My DH thinks his big one is his 65" smart tv, but he's also wrong.
I got him some really thoughtful small things too. DD's just going to be floored. Gosh I'm so excited! Haha! I'll definitely be thinking about you now too. But yes, she does believe, very much. Elf on the shelf, Santa tracker, activity advent calendar, we do the whole 9 yards. I imagine having no believers is LESS WORK & less stress, haha, so kudos to you! Merry Christmas to you & yours! Hope it's a great one!
@Heathur:
When they stop believing, it's really not any less stress/work.
I'm more proud of the older siblings for not letting the cat out of the bag with each other over the years...They all got to have their Santa.
I still do my over-achieving-mom Elf on the Shelf thing (
). I'll do that until and when they're all grown and into them bringing my grandkids here for Christmas!
Your little girlie will be so happy tomorrow! She's blessed to have you and her dad being such fun parents! This is the best time to spoil them!
