@Elle10: Hello? Have we met? Do you think I would ever stress about serving other people food? Seriously, I work full time and have a full schedule at home on top of that. They are lucky if they get Taco Bell tacos to go.
Think of the food as love and how you are showing your family and friends how much you love and care for them, through the time, money and effort you are spending on this dinner. No one is perfect...there will always be glitches. Love isn't perfect but it's the thought and expression that counts. [Are you buying any of this? LOL]
Take a huge deep breath, chill out and think about the dinner as a whole and spending time with the family. Calmly make your lists, shop early leaving time to go back and grab something if needed.
Lobster rolls sound wonderful. Deep breath and remember....Xanax, pop 'em if us have 'em....
No seriously!
You will be fine and dinner will be fine. Laugh off the glitches and don't stress about them. Go see your friend Herron for some puff and Donnatella for the Xanax (maybe we can all work a trade with massage in exchange), and all will be good.
Tell yourself, "it's just us...no food critics are working tonight." 4951
