My radiator fluid is at the minimum mark. I have 50,000 miles on it. Don't think I have had my radiator flushed before.
Best place to have it done and cost? Or should I do it my self?

Dont take it to walmart or jiffy lube....take it to a certified mechanic. The shell at northpark and WLHP is a good place.

Reason i say this, is because your coolant is low and it might mean there is another problem. A mechanic will find any possible leaks or problems. You might pay a bit more but for the peace of mind, I'd find someone who truly knows what they are doing. The guys at walmart and jiffy lube are a lot of times hired with virtually no automotive experience. 4951

@foxymama:  I do NOT recommend "do it yourself" radiator flushes.  The chemicals involved will probably damage the seal in your water pump and you will end up replacing it. That happened to me twice.  The first time seemed like a coincidence to me.  The second time convinced me.If your radiator has a build-up of minerals/crud, the best solution is to go to a radiator shop where they remove the radiator and soak it in a cleaning solution.

The owners Manual says it needs to be done every 5 years or 100,000mi. It says it isn't a big deal if it is at minimum level.
So I won't worry about till my next oil change.
I haven seen any leaks on the driveway.

@PedroDePacas:
I was thinking I would take it to Carmax. I have an extended warranty through them.

@foxymama: modern vehicles do consume some of their fluid. your dodge is equipped with 100,000 mile coolant and does not currently need to be flushed. barring any leaks just either go to auto parts and buy a gallon of:Mopar HOAT antifreeze/ coolant or equivalent and top off the reservoir tank OR just simply top off the reservoir tank with distilled water.

I typically have that done about every 4 years.But in between if it gets low, I add some premixed fluid (either I bought it or premixed it myself).If you get a compatable radiator fluid, and it is NOT premixed, it is 50/50 mix antifreeze and water.If it is premixed, just add it to your overflow reservoir. 4951
