If your plan for evading the police involves phoning in a bomb threat, you might want to make sure you turn off caller ID before making said threat. Jacob R. Moore of Idaho apparently forgot that little detail Friday before allegedly calling in a threat about Atlas Elementary School in Hayden, making the fugitive pretty easy for cops to pick up, 4951

When Cheryl Shapiro visited the holiday aisle at her local Walgreens in Los Angeles over the weekend, she was shocked to spot Hanukkah wrapping paper with a geometric border design that had a swastika shape in it.  4951

Too bad for the bomb threat guy there are not too many pay phones anymore. The ones there are probably have cameras nearby too! The wrapping paper is terrible. I hope they recalled it. 4951

Hitler stole the swastika symbol. The swastika has been around some 12,000 years and was defined as a symbol for "well being" or similar interpretation.  Many cultures have used it over the ages.
i just see a geometric design.  Nothing to get excited over. 4951

How about the criminal who created a health insurance scam, admitted to pushing it with lies, and got paid millions from the people he scammed? 4951

@Retired_Engineer: You are so right!  A friend from  India explained that in Sanskrit 'Swast' means "Good Health".  "Swastik" means a symbol for 'Well-being" therefore, "Good Health".  In ancient astronomy, it is the symbol for the Sun, since the Sun is the source of all energy and creates good health.  It is the root symbol which, in modified form, evolved into the Greek-Egyptian 'Aunkh" and, according to one theory, the Cross. The Swastika is found carved into structures in ancient monasteries and temples in China, India, Tibet, Korea, Cambodia, Viet-nam, Japan - in fact, all over Asia. Hitler probably - erroneously - thought it was an Aryan symbol when he adopted it.
