Do both, but majority is at stores.  Still like to touch what I am buying and don't deal well with returning things.  4951

I prefer to go to the store and actually look at what I am buying. I have bought items online,, and discovered this is not what I really wanted, or it was not as good as the picture. 4951

I'm an online shopper.  I generally know what I want (after a good bit of research) and just consider it easier than fighting traffic and crowds.

About 50% of the time, I am replacing or replenishing something I've purchased before, so I don't have to see it, touch it, and grope it before I purchase. 4951

I would do everything online if I could. I hate shopping. I even get annoyed while shopping online. 4951

Online. People are rude in the stores, I mean the customers. People seem to forget there are others in the universe besides themselves.  I would do the groceries online if I could. Pet peeve of mine is going to a grocery store and there are two folks blocking an entire aisle while they catch up on old times. then act exasperated when you walk between them and move their carts out of the way. 4951

Where do you do most of your shopping?

I do ecommerce because it is cheaper and usually safer.   I know by doing ecommerce I am putting jobs at risk and hurting the local economy but at the end of the day, those are their concerns not mine.

So where do you do most of yours at?

@Stealth83: You are not necessarily putting jobs at risk. The warehouse still needs to be stocked, the item you order online still needs to be pulled from the shelf, boxed, shipped, etc. Not to mention the numerous other jobs behind the scenes such as inventory control, running the website, customer service, etc.

So why do you some of you still shop in the stores if you can save time and money shopping online?

Is it the tradition?

@Stealth83: I don't mind buying non clothing items online.  I usually do most of my Christmas shopping that way each year.I do have a problem buying clothes online vs in store.  Typically, my size is priced a bit more online.  That just ticks me off.  I also vary in sizes depending on the brand and style.
