@Annie:
Me too! I'm required to make deviled eggs for every family gathering. I keep thinking their going to get sick of them but the family loves them! I love the tried and true recipes but I always like to add new recipes! New to the menu was a roasted brussel sprouts with figs,pecans(from my neighbors tree)and gordanzola cheese quite tasty. Got the recipe from Dr. Oz

@cat person: Oh Gawd! Don't mention that to @KTownTexican. You will get an hour-long lecture on how that is ranch dressing and nothing more. 4951

@cat person: "Dressing" that my MIL attempted to make. It was more like creamed spinach than dressing and was really gross. For Friday, I actually picked up a few sides from the Thanksgiving dinners to go section at Randall's to go with our small turkey. The surprise hit was the homestyle stuffing, which made up for MIL's disaster.

I was lazy and bought the HEB mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes w/pecans in the Deli section. Just microwaved and they were actually really good.
The kale and cranberry salad there is yummy too.

@cat person:

My normal is Miracle Whip, smidge of yellow mustard and generous amount of pickle relish and juice, salt and pepper.

I made some with balsamic vinegar, bacon and sharp cheddar. I thought they were terrific but the purists said to stick to the usual recipe. 4951

Sometimes I sprinkle bacon dust on them(mom doesn't like paprika)top them with a pearl onion. A dash of hot sauce never hurts Emoticon anything my 3 year old niece can help with is a plus! She helped me make a overnight french toast casserole for thanksgiving breakfast. 4951
