Their website does mention wheelchair service but I couldn't find any details.Call their Center Information at   281.446.5300 to get details.p.s.  I assume you were referring to Deerbrook mall 4951

Check out medical supply stores. They usually provide rentals. You might try googling "Kingwood wheelchair rental" to find local vendors. Most malls have them but they might be all in use by the time you get there. 4951

Her doctor can write an rx for a wheelchair. It will probably be covered by medicare. 4951

Also ask about getting a handicap parking tag. You'll have to go to the dmv to get it. Start with asking the doc's office 4951

Silly question- if she has broken her back, is going to the mall in her best interest? 4951

I bought my mom a transport chair at Walgreens when on sale for about $100. It is light weight and folds up easily to put in the car. We've used the heck out of it. 4951

I would find some place with less traffic than a mall. My mom is a slow mover and very hesitant to go to places where others would bump into her.

I agree with asking her doc for an rx but you won't get the wheelchair immediately. 4951

@silly123I didn't know she broke her back until this post. Is there a story Did she fall?  Must be painful.I wouldn't take her anywhere she didn't need to go.  The back/spine is fragile.  She could do more damage.    4951
