Guess who spent 12 hours outside, barking at stuff, lazing by the pool on the deck, enjoying the weather. Tuckered her out.

Our two black dogs love to lay in the sun when it's cool outside. 4951

Mine hardly wants to come in. At least she's staying in at night. That was getting on my nerves. Even though she quite large I'm uneasy leaving her outside overnight. 4951

Seems like more people bring their dogs in nowadays. When I was a kid in the 70's seems like everybody put the dog outside. 4951

@friday1:

Even being a kid in the 60's, we always brought our dogs in, they are family after all. Only people I knew left dogs outside, were farmers, to protect and warn, and Hunting dogs.
And how can they protect the house if they are in the back yard?

@FoFa:  I grew up in a rural area and we always had at least one dog and a cat or two.  My parents NEVER allowed them inside the house.  In cold weather, we put a box and some old blankets under the carport.After my wife and I had our first dog (who my parents loved), they decided to get a small inside dog.  It was great company for my parents, especially my dad.
