I think this is great,, the problem is that most tickets are sold to "members" first and then you get left overs.I always buy mine from a member.RodeoHouston changing the way you buy tickets Lauren Talarico, KHOU 11 News 5:20 p.m. CST November 20, 2014HOUSTON -- It's more than three months away, but folks at the Cavender's near NRG Stadium are already getting suited up for the 2015 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo."I'm buying boots, getting ready for the Rodeo," said shopper Ramona Williams. And next year concert goers could have even more to look forward to; better ticket prices."We are excited to offer a new method by which our fans can purchase their tickets," said Joel Cowley, President of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.Although face value prices have always been reasonable, often times tickets sell out quickly then reappear for much higher prices online and through second-hand brokers. But now, the rodeo is switching from Ticketmaster to a new company called AXS and it should help change that. When tickets go on sale customers will enter a virtual waiting room where they will be randomly selected to buy tickets."While they are in that virtual waiting room they have communication with real-time tracking showing changes and ticket availability for their performances and the price levels that they are interested in," explained Cowley. The fee is $3.50 and e-ticket delivery is free. 4951

The only time I attended the rodeo I received free tickets. My cousin and I were waiting in line for tickets. A guy walked up to us. "Hey," he said, "would you like these extra tickets I have?" They were tickets to the exhibitions and the rodeo at large. They also got us in to see ZZ Top. 4951
