Okay so DH has to work 1pm to 2 am on Thanksgiving, so I thought I would make a really nice breakfast buffet for us and my parents. What are some dishes that would help make it a little but more festive? I plan on making a cranberry almond French toast casserole, pumpkin waffles or pancakes, and cranberry orange scones. I also will have eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham, and chorizo. Anything else I can add? 4951

I bet a blob of stuffing cooked inside of a waffle maker would be delicious! Maybe served with an egg on top. Like a thanksgiving eggs benidict. Emoticon 4951

A breakfast casserole is the bomb. Easy, peazy and goes well into the brunch hour. There are many out there to choose from. 20 minute max prep and 30-45 minutes cooking time. My g'friend has an awesome recipe. I'll try to find it out and i'll post it. Delish! 4951

A small round of Brie (warmed slightly, not enough to melt it completely) top with Candied Pecans drizzled with honey.  I take this almost everywhere I have to bring a dish and it is a huge hit. Serve with pita chips, bagel crisps or tiny rounds of a baguette.

This would be more for a brunch and not true breakfast.

I like the idea of various breakfast casseroles. Those are always a big hit.

That sounds really good too! I've been meaning to make some candied pecans anyway, so this would be the perfect reason to quit being lazy and finally make them. Emoticon 4951

I've seen a round of warm Brie served with apple and pear slices too. Great idea Donnatella.

What about a twist on biscuits & gravy with turkey gravy and bits of turkey? Or a turkey omelette? Sweet potato hash browns? 4951
