Both my wife and I have already gotten calls. Â They ask three questions:1. Â Are you running a fever?2. Â Have you traveled to Africa recently?3. Â Have you had any contact with anyone that has Ebola?Since the answers to all three questions were "no" for us, I don't know what would happen if you answered yes to any of them.A bit of a nuisance, but worth it if it prevents an outbreak.... assuming people give accurate answers. 4951
awesome  NOT!  Do they actually think people are going to tell the truth?  It just boggles my mind how they actually think travelers wont take a tylenol or like and make it look like they are healthy and fine to get on a plane.  Heck that so called idiot DR came home sick, passed all the screenings at the airports and still went around NY (the largest populated city in America) and spread his disease.I feel the way the military has it, quarantine them all!  Cut off travel to and from those areas (unless its military planes for aid) 4951
If you were running a fever after getting back from Africa and visiting someone with Ebola, why would you still be at home? Not sure how much that would help but...I guess they are at least trying to prevent it unlike other some other people we all know. :D 4951
Seriously???? Â Out of the blue they called you? Â Weird. At least it wasn't "Have you been with ****? Â Do you a rash on your man parts? Â Do you know who else we should contact?" 4951

@Retired_Engineer: Then I guess we should all expect calls from our doctors? Huh - hadn't heard fo this new regulation. 4951
I telephoned Kelsey Sebold to make an appointment for my mom. Before I could even inquire of times available, I had to answer countless questions about her risk factors. The poor telephone screener said everyone had been rather rude about being asked the questions. At least she had a chuckle when talking to me. 4951
This move is a typical bureaucratic ploy.  The CDC needed to take some action....ANY action.  Just so it looks like they are doing something.  Don't take it out on the ones that have to make the calls.  They didn't require this and they know it's  ridiculous, and it's just busy work. 4951
