>> Huh, Weird that I didn't even realize the ws was on, not really but this world series has the lowest ratings ever, only 12m watched the first game on regular tv while over 10m watched the nfl draft on cable. Baseball; America's game not anymore.
@iCarr: that is sad. Real fans are watching. These two teams play a great brand of baseball. Loving it!
@notfromhere:
Not sad, I am a "real fan" I chose not to watch on principle because of the antics of the new owner (crane) who has ran the astros into the ground, while increasing admission and concession prices, almost impossible to take a family of 4 out to the ball park and not spend a couple Franklin's, and with their matrix pricing you want to see (traditionally) good teams i.e., Yankees, Red Sox, or any other top tier team your going to pay more per ticket for the same seat vs somebody like the Orioles or the A's.
@iCarr: the Yankees didn't make the playoffs. The Red Sox were dead last. The Orioles and the A's had great teams and both made the playoffs.
Having said that, I agree with you about the Astros and respect your decision. Hopefully all those kids will come through soon.
@notfromhere:
Yes I know that's why I said traditionally, but even though the red sox were in last place they will bring in more spectators than say the blue jays or the mariners. 4951
