@QueenB: You drink it....the link has a drink you can make.  EmoticonDH had them last year and drank the ACV straight and they dissolved.

Olive oil and lemon juice is what I've always read.

And there is an inexpensive supplement called Uva Ursi. When I was having kidney-related back pain, that cleared it up. I found it at Vitamin World for $8. But beware of pushy salespeople. 4951

@Mahm: I prefer the natural stuff over the Vicodin.

Thank you! I appreciate knowing what has helped other folks in the past.

@Mahm: The drink has lemon juice and cinnamon in it.  I read about Uva Ursi too.  DH wasn't in a waiting mood and I had a ton of ACV laying around.  For prevention, nettle tea works.

@Mahm: I didn't look at that link too much either.  The first links I saw were more for prevention.  When DH had them, I tried making him a drink with lemon juice and ACV.  It also had cinnamon and tumeric in it but he hated it.I think you can also try baking soda and water.

@QueenB:

I had them twice right after I had the youngest son. Doctor told me water with lemon is the best thing. And don't wait around when you are in pain! I did that and ended up being in the hospital for THREE DAYS!!! They said my kidneys were starting to not work properly because of the stone blocking.dont remember much of that hospital stay as I was on a heavy pain med every 3 hours lol!! 4951
