Since switching from the 15Mbps package to the 50Mbps package a couple weeks ago we have had nothing but problems with the reliability of the service. It goes up and down throughout the day. Some times the  cable modem is able to lock right back on, other times its down for 30-45 minutes until its able to get the connection back.Suddenlink sent a tech out on Friday afternoon who said the problem is that the signal at the demarc in our back yard is TOO good. He tried his best to pad, attenuate the signal but he needed to pull it down at least 20dB and couldn't manage more than 6dB.He said someone else would have to come out to work on the node and or replace the head in the demarc to correct the problem. He said they would be out Saturday.No one ever came Saturday.Service is still up and down.Our phones are close to exceeding our data limit because we have them off wifi. I'm going to end up having to pay a fee for exceeding at this point.I hate Suddenlink with a passion. 4951

I've been on the phone for 32 minutes this morning listing to the same message on phone jail hoping for someone to pick up."Your call is very valuable to us, so please enjoy this annoying crap on a 3 minute loop in hopes that you get frustrated and hang up" 4951

@MTechnique: Connect to the Suddenlink.net site and do the live chat. They seem to be more receptive but that is the corporate contacts.  They will still eventually have to get you to the local office.Also, I complained one time for being out for about 4 hours.  I was told, after the restoration, contact billing.  I contacted billing and they credited me with 20% of the monthly charge.

Guarantee you'll get 2 service call fees now. It's stupid that they come out, don't fix anything and charge you for it. 4951

Call and tell them you aren't paying for overages because they couldn't show up and fix your stuff on time.  Then tell them you want a credit for the time your internet is down.  I find this approach to be the best and fastest in getting them to respond.  The minute you mention a credit, they get stuff done post haste.We were having a ton of issues over the last month, then on Thursday night they did some type of update.  And so far so good.We went over our limit this summer.  The first time you go over is no charge.  I think it is the 3rd time you go over before they charge you full price.  We put a notice on our account, so that now if we come close to our limit, they will notify us.My sister was here dog sitting, and she left Netflix on overnight.  Even if it is on pause, you are still streaming.  Lesson learnedEmoticon

@Fallon:
What do you mean over your limit?!

@Suddenlink Help:  Well, that's not very helpful!Actually, I'm very happy with Suddenlink as my ISP.   I've got the 30Mbps service and this is pretty typical for me.  I had problems with Century Link and dropped them for Suddenlink.However, as I've stated before, it also depends on your location.  Some people report better service from Century Link and some report better service from Suddenlink.  We do need more ISPs for better competition.
