I little bit of pumpkin goes a long way with me.  Maybe a scented candle here or there, but it seems marketers want any and every thing to be pumpkin scented or flavored, so much so that I even avoid the pumpikin spice lattes at Starbucks.  Not everything has to be pumpkin from mid-September until mid-January.  4951

Am I the only one who thinks that scented toilet paper can't be good for your sensitive parts? 4951

I love fall. I enjoy an occasional pumpkin spice latte. Maybe even a pumpkin spice candle or two! Pumpkin cookies...yep! I'll take em! 4951

I may be stating the obvious here, but the thing about pumpkin spice is that it isn't pumpkin at all. It's cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. Those are the spices that give pumpkin pie it's distinctive flavor, but without them, pumpkin is just another bland squash.

I love pumpkin pie on thanksgiving. I like pumpkin bars with cream cheese icing on Christmas. I might enjoy a slice of pumpkin cheesecake once during the season. But, to me, those flavors and scents are overwhelming in teas and coffees and candles. Now, apple cinnamon candles at Christmas time are pretty nice, IMO. And egg nog flavored milkshakes are pretty good. 4951

Anything pumpkin sounds good to me.   Love the Bath & Body Works candles with pumpkin - they have several different ones right now! 4951

@taramay:  Okay, truce, for the sake of the pumpkin cookies, maybe.  But I'm still not buying a pumpkin spice latte.  I'm not fallin' for the trap!! 4951

Are you referring to pumpkin spice latte or egg nog milkshake?
