You can do something similar without having to sign up for anything. You can find an ad in a paper with an advertised lower price than Walmart's and they'll match it. 4951

I want to add to this..The last time I did price matching, I tried to price match with some cereal that was on sale at heb. Because it had "with in store coupon" she wouldn't let me use it. Well wouldn't ya know when I did the savings catcher it picked up on it and gave it to me anyway!! 4951

@donnatella: That's your choice.   Personally I don't find the need to over pay for something when I don't have to. Cheapest price for the equal item gets my money.   My loyalty is to me not to a storefront or business.  What they do is on them - how I save for my future and my family is on me.  I use it as a training tool.   The kiddo gets the savings in her 529 account so she has a vested interest in helping with the savings.

@Stealth83: That's a cool way to look at and get the kidlet involved in budgeting. Good point. I still hate WM and avoid it at all costs. I don't mine buying from their website, just don't make me go into any of their stores. Rude people, icky store and icky clientele (i.e, the people of WM). Yuck yuck yuck! 4951

The only problem I see with this, it's you have to go to wal-mart 4951

Have been using Savings Catcher for almost a month now. Last week, I cashed out my $35 e-card. I have been surprised that some of the cheaper items were at CVS and Dollar General! 4951

in the long run, it makes a hell of a lot more sense to actually shop at the stores that beat the walmart price and that walmart then matches. that way you reward the stores that give you the better deals rather than takeyour money away from them and give that money to walmart. if you don't do that, eventually there won't be stores for wallyworld to match because you will have cut off their cashflow and put them out of business. and you think wallyworld will give you deals after that? 4951

That's great if you have the time to run from store to store. 4951
