Doesn't matter what it is - look at who we blame.
Â
On the thread about pharmacies people complain about the store - when it is the employees who are working slow or not looking to fill the prescriptions or filling them incorrectly. But we complain about the business, not the ineptitude of the people.
Â
On discussions about the players from the NFL - we complain about the league and how it's their fault when in fact the league isn't even the employer, the teams are and it is the employees who are the ones beating their wives/girlfriends/kids - not the teams and not the league but social media is blasting on the league.
Â
What is it that makes it okay to blame big things and not focus the laser of attention on to those who are actually the causes - it is individual people who make these mistakes.Â
Â
People get their groceries bagged wrong at the store, they complain the store is to blame - why not blame the person bagging them - we all know they were trained on how to bag groceries, they CHOOSE to be lazy and bag them so they break and fall out.
Â
People get rude service at a store - they blame the store. Seriously? Every employee is trained in customer service, every employee/every PERSON knows what good customer service is but it is the PERSON who CHOOSES to be rude and disrespectful.
Â
I think we have become so PC to not want to hurt a person's feelings that we feel it is better to blame an entity and think that will solve things.  Really what we need todo is to focus on fixing the people causing the problems and get rid of them and then raise the bar for everyone.

@Stealth83: But it's NEVER my fault! No seriously, our country has become so self absorbed and entitled that it is never anyone else's fault except the BIG guy, companies and what not. There is always an excuse and never any reprimand these days when it comes to kids. Can you even imagine what we are going to look like in about 15-20 years?
