Doesn't matter what it is - look at who we blame.

On the thread about pharmacies people complain about the store - when it is the employees who are working slow or not looking to fill the prescriptions or filling them incorrectly.  But we complain about the business, not the ineptitude of the people.

On discussions about the players from the NFL - we complain about the league and how it's their fault when in fact the league isn't even the employer, the teams are and it is the employees who are the ones beating their wives/girlfriends/kids - not the teams and not the league but social media is blasting on the league.

What is it that makes it okay to blame big things and not focus the laser of attention on to those who are actually the causes - it is individual people who make these mistakes.

People get their groceries bagged wrong at the store, they complain the store is to blame - why not blame the person bagging them - we all know they were trained on how to bag groceries, they CHOOSE to be lazy and bag them so they break and fall out.

People get rude service at a store - they blame the store.  Seriously?  Every employee is trained in customer service, every employee/every PERSON knows what good customer service is but it is the PERSON who CHOOSES to be rude and disrespectful.

I think we have become so PC to not want to hurt a person's feelings that we feel it is better to blame an entity and think that will solve things.   Really what we need todo is to focus on fixing the people causing the problems and get rid of them and then raise the bar for everyone.

@Stealth83: Well said... time to start taking personal responsibility in this self serving entitlement society...

I agree.  In regards to the NFL, let the media tell it you would think the entire league is rampant with rogue players.  When in fact the NFL consist of well over a thousand players.  So the percentage of those with criminal charges might comprise 2-3%.I will quote a favorite saying on Monday Night Football - C'mon Man. 4951

Its the employers fault for allowing behavior that is detrimental to the company to continue..blaming the corp. doesnt remove any responsibility from the individual. 4951

@Stealth83:  But it's NEVER my fault!  No seriously, our country has become so self absorbed and entitled that it is never anyone else's fault except the BIG guy, companies and what not.  There is always an excuse and never any reprimand these days when it comes to kids.  Can you even imagine what we are going to look like in about 15-20 years?

Well as for the pharmacy thread, who do I blame? I did my part by calling both the doctor and the pharmacy and the pharmacy says it's not in the system but yet the doctors office says it was sent. 4951

There are *****s in every occupation, that doesn't make the occupation or employer bad, it makes the ******s bad.

Let's take out that garbage and not blast everyone who does it.

@Stealth83:

*****s are different than what is going on here..crimes were committed, people were hurt..you cant allow that to continue in your corp. You have to let them go so they can then face the consequences. Its not the corps fault they committed the crime, its their fault for excusing it. 2 separate issues. 4951

@mpjp0907: I normally go to the Wagreens on Kingwood drive closer to 59 and have never had a problem there.  Maybe it's just the location.

@BooBear: Are you saying that ANYONE who is CHARGED with a crime (not yet convicted or even if convicted given deferred) should lose their jobs?

Think about that................

@Stealth83: if my husband were to be just charged with a felony, before conviction he will be suspended without pay..if he is convicted, he WILL lose his job.

@mpjp0907: Interesting question.

So, you did your part, the parties say they did theirs.............but you still blamed the pharmacy and blasted on the business.

Why not blast on TCH?  Why did you choose to blast the pharmacy?

Why not just chalk it up to "crap happens" if you don't want to blame a person.

I;m not picking on you nor am I saying what you said is wrong, I just think it's interesting how we as a society choose to blame.

@Stealth83:
Not blaming tch because they also did their part. The send the script over before I have even left the room. The only thing that really angered me was the fact is it was an antibiotic for a sick child that needed it asap to get over whatever was wrong. When it finally all got ironed out I still was pushed to the back of the line and didn't get it til 6pm. I understand crap happens. It happens to me all the dang time lol

what a pitiful thread. with all these complaints, do any of you ever talk to the store manager about the problem? or follow that up with a call to the district manager? or call the owner if it is a small business? a business can't fix their problem whether it is their fault or the employee's fault if they don't know about it. and if the company and its management know about a problem and the problem still continues, then they deserve to lose your business. 4951
