Need to find a nice, kind dentist who will not blow me over with his charges. Found one in the woodland/spring who seemed very kind and gentle until I reviewed his charges!!! For two posts then two crowns.......$5000!!!!! And I don't have that kind of money to just hand over to him. They also have an In clinic.payment plan but. It's plan is crazy. They also suggest applying for a credit card. This card is only used for dentil and other health care issues . Might have to get the card and use it for this dental visit but not. $5000 ( I hope!)

So I'm sorry for the long note.

If you know of of a good dentist, write me back. On this forum

Thanks again

Try Kevin Burke, He is on KW Dr.  I really like him and his staff.  My crown last year was about $800.  My share was a tad under $400.  Lots better than $5000 4951

That seems about right for two posts (I'm assumingthose are the metal ones they put down into your jaw?) And two crowns. Dental care is $$$. 4951

We use Derek Scott on Green Oak.   My husband quit going to dentists decades ago because of how harsh they are, but Dr. Scott is honest and gentle.  He has completely restored my husbands choppers (the ones that could be saved) and bridged the others.  Few implants to get done and he'll have a full grill EmoticonI wouldn't see anyone else.As far as the credit card, they are probably talking about CareCredit.  It's a wonderful card with multiple options for payment plans.  You can also use it at several veternarians and emergency animal hospitals.  It's saved my bank account this last few weeks. 4951

Woody Barksdale off of WLH Pkwy, if he's still taking new patients. His nephew is also in his practice but I know nothing about his dentistry. I can't say anything about their prices since I've not shopped around, but he's the best dentist I've ever had. And I've had a lot of dental work done in my lifetime! He's never once caused me pain...not once. 4951

Do you want close, safe, nice, cheap and clean.....you won't get all 5 in kingwood. Go see Dr Scott Jones with Jones family dentistry in Cleveland. It's about a 25 minute drive. 4951

I recommend AVOIDING Rhonda Bolman.  She bought the practice from Michael Doyle (who was terrific!).  I had a bad experience with her and her front office and have not been back.  I've since tried a few other dentists but haven't settled on one. 4951

I use Dr. Kevin Burke as well.  He is fantastic!  Takes his time with his patients, very gentle, and does great work.  I like him a lot.  And he does this magic lip giggle that make your Novocaine shot not hurt so bad! :0) 4951
