We are thinking about changing our plan.  Right now we have Verizon and I am paying over $200 for 3 phones, one of which is just a plain jane phone. Does any one know which one has the best coverage? 4951

I have sprint,,, the only reason I have not changed, is because under my family plan I have unlimited talk (to any cell phone), text, and web, for all our phones. My daughter has a phone in NM and they don't offer Tmobile there. Sprint is expensive, and does have gliches, but for unlimited, it works for us. I have looked at other companies,, not Tmobile,, but they cant beat my plan, I have had sprint over 10 years, and my plan is no longer offered. 4951

We started with Sprint years ago because my company used them and Sprint gave all employees a discount.  We've stayed with them since.  We have four phones on it.  1500 minutes of shared talk, unlimited talk (mobile-to-mobile), unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited text, unlimited Sprint 4G internet.  I keep my grown kids on our plan because it's a lot cheaper than both of them having their own plans.  Total is about $240/month. 4951

I loved having tmobile. It was sooo much more affordable. I think I paid $220 a month for 5 lines.
I have att now with 7 lines unlimited talk/text and 40gb of shared data for well over $500 a month. I pay for my moms line and I am still under contract for my dads line so we gave his phone to my granddaughter.

Sprints service stinks. 4951

TMobile customer service was great with the little things (minor issues, misc. questions, billing inquiries, etc.) until I ended up with a crappy phone that gave me nothing but problems. They gave me the run around until I got fed up, paid my accounts in full, went to Verizon that same day and got iPhones for everyone and never dealt with TMobile again. They kept calling and leaving messages, and I just blocked them.

They claimed I owed them $900 early termination for 3 lines, plus a ton of other trumped up fees that was nothing but bull****. I paid my bills completely down to zero and told them to kiss my @ss and they would never see another dime from me. 4951

@BooBear: f that!!

@mm4731:
I need to check because im pretty sure it should only be about 300-350. My son always goes over the data and I think we have a bunch of subscription things on there. I juat dread making that call.

@donnatella: Sounds almost exactly like my experience!!!  TMobile is horrible.We left them for Sprint but the service and customer relations suuuuuuuuucks.  We went to Verizon in December and I"m kicking myself for not going to them earlier.

@randisue: Verizon by far has the best coverage if you are talking about access to internet, less dropped calls etc.  $200 for 3 phone is not a bad price.  I have one smart phone with Verizon and it is $80.00.  Verizon does have new plans for multiple lines  You can research and compare them at Verizon.com.  Sprint service in the KW area is poor and I have AT&T for my work phone and it is just average.  Maybe consider the new service from Wal-Mart if the goal is to keep the cost down.  I have heard good things about Straight Talk.  They have various levels of service for single and multiple phones.

I've had Tmobile for 13 years, not once did I ever have a major problem with them.  Recently, my son took 2 lines off my account, he wanted his own account.  Since then it's been problem after problem.  But I'm not ready for change yet so I am sticking with them. 4951

I've never really had any problems with Sprint.  When we travel to VERY rural parts of Arkansas or Louisiana, their signal is weak and we may not get 4G, but that's OK.If we have to call Sprint for some reason, I get my wife to do it.  She has a more pleasant personality and people seem to want to help her. 4951

I used Sprint for years but got tired of the slow slow wifi speeds.  I switched to Verizon and pay a little less now.  It isn't unlimited data like i had with SPrint but i don't come close to using the alloted amount.  And with Verizon is way way faster.  I pay like $65 a month.  4951

Thanks for all of the input.  I am still not sure what we are going to do yet, but all of the responses have been very helpful. 4951
