I like the HEB in Summerwood. I hate the parking lot here and the smell of fish as you walk in the door.

I do most shopping at randalls. Its close. 4951

@BooBear:  Yep, was at HEB on Tuesday evening and assaulted by the fish smell as soon as I was inside the door.  Only shop there when I absolutely have to because of that smell

Kroger because they have great manager specials and close outs. Plus they are very loyal to hireing special needs and their gas points and because I love the wide open new one, Daughter and I both have skinny isle issues.....lol 4951

I prefer Kroger's.  Shop randalls too.  Hate HEB!  Specially since they are evicting people from their homes to build yet another shopping center we dont need! 4951

Kroger, definitely.  I go to HEB for a very few specific items only if it's worth the hassle. 4951

I go to HEB for produce and seafood/meat (I never notice a fish smell, unless they are steaming shrimp at the moment).  I go to Kroger's for everything else (more variety, and I know where most things are.  I hate Randall's.  They are too expensive, and the variety of items sucks.  I loved Randall's before they sold out to Safeway. 4951

I don't like the layout at Kroger. It doesn't make sense.

I love HEB, any HEB.

I like Randall's too, but their meat prices are cray cray, unless there is a special sale.

I like the little teeny Walmart grocery store on Northpark because it's convenient for me and carries most of the essentials. The big Walmart stores make me sorry I went, every time. Too many screaming dirty little kids. Back in the day, people used to wash their babies. Also, the super Walmart is bad about having 50 people with carts trying to check out and only 2 registers open. The Walmart heiress has more money than her grandchildren's grand children can ever spend, but they can't possibly afford the payroll for enough cashiers to get the job done before the ice cream melts.

Perhaps I'm hormonal today. Emoticon 4951

I most often shop at the Walmart Neighborhood Market out of convenience, generally lower prices, and proximity to Starbucks Emoticon

But if I had my way, HEB would be my store. The one in Summerwood is amazing. 4951
