When I lived in Los Angeles, there was a house similar to this across the street from the house I rented.  The cliff house was the lower level of a two story house.  I was never inside, so I don't know how the upper level connected with the lower.  The upper level was on the cliff, while the lower level was on the side of the cliff, as is the house in the image.  The cliff overlooked a valley, and beyond that was the PCH and ocean.One morning I woke up to find that lower level crashed in rubble at the bottom of the cliff. 4951

I think it would be great if they could properly secure it. No other view like it. 4951

I'm not sure what I would be more afraid of: the stability of the structure or the windows. I have this weird phobia about blinds or curtains being open after dark. I will not walk into my kids' rooms until they close their blinds. And there are trees providing privacy on that side of the house. Doesn't matter. If there is more light inside the house than outside, exposed windows just freak me out. 4951

@calliecat:

It might motivate me to declutter so there was less weight in the house! 4951

@KTownTexican:
The cats are inside using the litter box. They have a George Foreman grill. And it looks like they have a place to swim.
