Sounds like he looked into the future. Only 5:00 or so minutes long. Proves Bush was not always wrong.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fP28xtVL1ag 4951

@TXSG: president bush was the one whose administration couldn't finalize an agreement to keep the iraqis from being able to charge american soldiers with criminal offenses in iraq. and thats why the pullout. otherwise our soldiers could have been facing charges anytime an iraqi had property damage or was injured or killed.

Cut off the liberal reply/argument before they make it."But it wasn't Obama who wanted to withdraw the troops.  The Iraqis wanted the troops out of there."One of the cornerstones of Senator Obama's campaign was withdrawing the troops from Iraq.In 2012 President Obama became irate, during a debate with Mitt Romney, when Romney suggested President Obama wanted to keep some troops in Iraq.President Bush, before leaving office, was in negotiations with the Iraqi government.  This was to keep some troops in Iraq to handle intelligence work and to train and support Iraqi defense forces.  The negotiation was not easy.  Iraq made some harsh demands including that U.S. personnel in Iraq would be subject to Iraq civilian law.  But negotiations were ongoing.  President Obama ended those negotiations. 4951

In 2008 Rush Limbaugh responded to a story that claimed Obama is always cool under pressure.  Limbaugh said Reagan was cool under pressure, because he was capable and in control.  Limbaugh said Obama was cool under pressure, because he is cold - he isn't interested, he doesn't care, he's detached.  The media attacked Limbaugh for criticizing Obama.  It was suggested Limbaugh might be a racist for making the statement.Earlier this year, after ISIS activities and a beheading to which Obama responded with more golf, mainstream media reported that Obama is detached, uncaring, cold. 4951

Bush wasn't the only one that set forth the warning.  ALL of our top military officials also warned Obama that it was't good to pull everyone out.  They wanted to leave at least 10k there to keep peace.  And if those 10k were still there we would of been able to get a heads up faster about ISIS.Iraq is so corrupt, even 100x's more than what our government is.  they couldn't be trusted to do what was necessary to keep peace.  Hence the situation we are in now. 4951

GWB was prophetic about withdrawing troops from Iraq, but he SHOULD have thought about that BEFORE we even invaded Iraq (and later Afghanistan). He KNEW (or damn well SHOULD have known) that we would need to keep troops in Iraq indefinitely once we invaded.  But most Americans would have recognized that as another Viet Nam and would NOT have supported that.  So he used the pretext of finding and destroying WMDs to invade.  We didn't find any so he added objectives of eliminating terrorist training camps, toppling Sadam, and turning Iraq into a democracy.  The only objective that had a definite ending was toppling Sadam.  The other two require longterm commitment of US forces...and lives.  I personally don't see Iraq as a working democracy any time in the next several decades (at least). That was one thing I admired about GHWB (Sr) and the first gulf war.  He defined the objectives to kick Iraq out of Kuwait and help defend the Saudi border.  If we happened to put a dent in Iraq's military while working on those objectives, that was OK.  Bush let the military run the war and once we met those objectives, we stopped.Bush Jr should never have put troops in Iraq or Afghanistan. 4951
