What a cluster ****.I thought I would be nice and drop my dd off-I am not being nice anymore.  f that crap.  It should not take almost an hour to drop your child off.  NCISD needs to get their heads out of their butts. 4951

Car lines at these schools is ridiculous. I couldn't get down Tree Lane by BB the other day bc of the line of cars waiting to turn at the stop sign. I ended up doing a U-turn and going a different way. 4951

@mpjp0907: Mine didn't get to school until 732-we left at 645 and the school is less than a mile away. I would have made myself known to the bus driver Emoticon

The drop off is easy because DS has to be at school (KMS) at 6:30 for football practice. Butthe afternoon pick up that is sanother story to much traffic

@silly123:

When mine went there i never waited in the line...I made my kids walk to the store across the street. 4951

@silly123: I pick mine up from KMS some days and I always park across the street and leave the other way (toward King's Forest) and it only takes a few minutes to get out.  I don't do the drive through pick up routine.  He is capable of walking a half block to my parked car.

Problem is, if they even tried to expand the lanes outside the school, people would complain twice as much about the "construction being a problem"... There is no making Kingwood people happy.. Emoticon 4951

I wish they would put lines on the street in front of BBE. Traffic wouldn't be so bad if people used a little common sense. That stop sign by the school has enough room for 3 lanes of traffic (one going west, one north turn lane- into the front of the school and one east bound lane). Also, apparently we need signs to remind drivers not to block crosswalks and not to park on the (very narrow) bridge. PEOPLE!All in all, our pick up isn't too bad usually-  most of the time I can leave my house at 3:25 and drive right up to the school. 4951

If the local police dept wants revenue, they need to show up at some school zones and do their job.

@Fallon: I agree! I'd like to see a School Zone Task Force. They could be at a different school every day- it would take, what... 30 mins?
