I could help him spend it with a little trip to Cartier, Aston Martin, and to Louis Vuitton.
@donnatella: I have an Aston Martin story for you. The Lotus dealer where I take my car to get serviced is also the Aston Martin dealer. One time when I was in there, they had a carbon black V12 Vantage VIN number 007. There are only about a dozen carbon black V12 Vantages in the U.S. I believe the price on this one was over $250k. While I was waiting for my car, the salesman told me that a man had come in a few days ago to pick up his new Aston Martin Rapide that he had ordered. (Rapide is a 4-door version - about $300k). While he was in to get the Rapide, he decided (on a whim) to go ahead and purchase the carbon black V12 Vantage IN ADDITION to the Rapide he had ordered! This is the exact V12 Vantage VIN #007 at the Houston Auto Show

@WskyTngoFxtrt: You tease...you just wanted to type "I have an Aston Martin...." You know I'm right.
Seriously, that would be upper 300s for a DBS. 4951

@donnatella: I don't have an Aston Martin. But I have a few pics of them on the showroom floor while I was there waiting. 4951
I know, I was just messing with you for sport. I'd love to see those pics if you don't mind posting them or sending them. To me, those are much more impressive than the Porsche that the guys think are so hot and buy during their mid-life crisis. I'd rather see a hot guy in a custom suit stepping out of an Aston Martin any day.....way hotter. I'll get an eye full of that in February when FIFTY SHADES comes out. Holy ****...that's going to be hot!!! 4951

@donnatella: You should go to Star Motor Cars on Old Katy Rd and check them out. That's the Houston authorized Aston Martin dealer. They'll have about 5 or so in there to check out. The guys in there are real nice. They'll probably even give you a copy of the latest Aston Martin magazine. This is the only pic I could find on my phone. 4951
@WskyTngoFxtrt: Gorgeous! And my favorite color too. Oh, my friend, you did me proud.
BTW, been to Cartier lately?
@donnatella: Nope! Another time I was at the dealership, one of the Houston Rockets (don't remember which one) had just dropped off his midnight blue Aston Martin to get repaired because it had gotten hail damaged the night before. You could see these small dents all over the car. It was a sad sight! 4951
whats funny,, they could offered him $1 - $5 million a year, for 6 years, and he would have taken it. He is just that kind of guy. Its all about the game and fans, and not the money. 4951
